The Council of African Youth Advocates (C.A.Y.A) was founded in 2019 by Emmanuel Kwasi Ntenye-Tonor from Ghana, drawing inspiration from the first African to become the United Nations Secretary General, Mr. Kofi Annan.
The network which started through a WhatsApp group grew with membership cutting across the 54 African Countries and diaspora. CAYA has become a continental youth advocacy-based organization comprising young experts from the 54 countries in Africa and Diaspora.
